I am reading a fantastic book by Joan Dye Gussow that my friend Elaine gave to me. Thanks, Elaine! Gussow's narrative is informational and engaging. By page 40, I have already learned how to grow and store sweet potatoes, how to garden to feed yourself for the whole year, and a great technique for building up soil. I can't wait to find out more.
