Water Collection (Rain Barrels!)

My students and I are going to set up a rain barrel collection system. We are even going to make a wooden stand for it! This is very exciting, and I want to share with you a local, family run business that makes and sells the barrels, and will even deliever them by bike! Talk about eco friendly!!!

"why use a rain barrel?

* The average roof size of a home in the U.S. is 989 sq. ft.
* With one inch of rainfall, a roof that size can harvest 563 gallons of water.
* In Columbus, Ohio (where the Rain Brothers live), we average 37 in. of rain per year, which means that the average home in Columbus can collect over 22,000 gallons of water per year with a rain barrel system!"

I have to give a shout out to my Rain Brothers! They offer a wonderful rain barrel service for the Columbus Area and can even deliver it by bike!
